Animism is Poetry

In so many cultures, including my Insular Celtic ancestral traditions, poetic song and lyricism are the ultimate, most sought-after conduits of ecstatic and divine wisdom.

This understanding of the potency of poetic song to transform us and transcend the mundane has deep philosophical roots…it is the profound recognition that all things carry a lyrical energetic blueprint.

We all carry our own song, our own patterning, and it is these patterns that are interrelated and constantly communicating.

In animist thought and practice, this recognition is key because it also denotes conscious awareness as present in all patterns.

All is awake.

In our lives, we realize that certain patterns are particularly resonant for us, others not so much.
